Day 1: Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Early morning departure from Adelaide, where our private, air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up. We’ll board the ferry to Kangaroo Island, enjoying scenic views as we cross the Backstairs Passage. On arrival, we’ll head to the Penneshaw Pub for lunch. After lunch we head to Christmas Cove for your 75 min Ocean Safari Tour before we then do a scenic drive around Penneshaw. We will stop by the Penneshaw Penguin Centre to show you where it is, as your tour is at 09:00pm and a short 5 min walk from your accommodation. We then head to the Seafront Hotel for check-in. After settling in, enjoy free time to explore Penneshaw or relax. At 08:50pm, make your way down to the Penneshaw Penguin Centre for your tour.
Day 2: Kangaroo Island Exploration - Baudin Conservation Park
After breakfast, we’ll start our day with a 2 hour hike at Baudin Conservation Park where you will see wildlife, breathe in the fresh salt air and enjoy spectacular scenery. After our hike, we enjoy some refreshments at Millie Mae's Cafe before we head to Dudley Wines for Wine Tasting. We then head to Cape Willoughby and then on to Pennington Bay. After that, we head to Kangaroo Island Spirits for some gin tasting and relaxation time before heading to your accommodation in Kingscote.
Day 3: Wildlife & Nature Highlights - Seal Bay Conservation Park
Today, we start our day with a drive to Seal Bay Conservation Park where you will be taken onto the beach for a guided beach tour. You will watch the seals playing and frolicking around you as you learn about the Australian Sea Lions. We then make our way to Raptor Domain for the Birds of Prey Bird Show before heading to Vivonne Bay for lunch and to the jetty for a photo stop. We then make our way back to Clifford's Honey for some honey tasting and some well deserved ice cream and then onto Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery for some cider tastings and to learn about the only operating eucalyptus distillery in South Australia. We then head back to your accommodation.
Day 4: Kangaroo Island - Flinders Chase National Park & Kelly Hill Caves Conservation Park
We make our way to Flinders Chase National Park, home to the iconic Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, and Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse. We then head to Flinders Chase Visitor Centre for lunch. From here, we make our way to Kelly Hill Caves Conservation Park where you have the opportunity to learn about the history of the caves before embarking on an underground adventure. We then head back to your accommodation doing some wildlife spotting along the way.
Day 5: Return to Adelaide
On the final day, we’ll make our way back to Penneshaw, with a stop at Stokes Bay and Emu Bay Lavender Farm first. We then head to the ferry terminal to catch the return ferry to Adelaide, where we’ll say our goodbyes and drop you off at The Stamford Plaza. -

On your first night, unwind at the Seafront Hotel in Penneshaw, a stylish coastal retreat overlooking Backstairs Passage. Just a short stroll from the ferry, it’s the perfect place to relax, with modern amenities and easy access to local cafes, shops, and wildlife.
For the next three nights, settle into the Ozone Hotel in Kingscote (other options may be chosen according to availability), set along the scenic waterfront. This well-appointed hotel offers ocean views, comfortable rooms, and an on-site restaurant serving fresh, local produce. Located in the island’s largest town, it's the ideal base for exploration.
