Scenic Kangaroo Island Trail Tour

Seal Bay has been home to an Australian sea lion population for thousands of years, and offers one of the most exceptional nature-based experiences in the world. Australian sea lions are unique to South Australia and Western Australia. They are an endangered species – their total population is about 14,700. Seal Bay is the third largest colony of this magnificent, wild creature.

This is the only place in the world where you can see Australian sea lions at close quarters and walk on a beach where pups play, bulls fight for supremacy and resting mothers suckle their young. Enjoy a stroll at your own leisure on the boardwalk or be taken onto the beach on a guided tour for 45 minutes with an experienced guide!

REMARKABLE ROCKS

Remarkable Rocks is located within Flinders Chase National Park, and approximately 110 km's from Kingscote. They are naturally sculptured formations of granite rock that have acquired their shape from the harsh southern winds and rain over millions of years and they attract visitors from all over the world.

They are best seen early in the morning or late in the afternoon in order to capture the stunning sunrises and sunsets but are amazing any time of the day. One of Kangaroo Island's iconic attractions, whose colour is due to lichen, has stunning views and a boardwalk where you can stroll down and enjoy a walk around these marvellous natural formations.

ADMIRALS ARCH

Admirals Arch is a beautiful natural rock arch that is located within Flinders Chase National Park, and home to a large breeding colony of long nosed fur seals.

Make your way down the boardwalk and down the stairs viewing the spectacular scenery along the way where you will see the gorgeous fur seals and their young in breeding season in their natural habitat.

HANSON BAY & HANSON BAY SANCTUARY

Hanson Bay is a stunning part of the coastline on Kangaroo Island. Take a walk across the sand while taking in the breathtaking scenery of this pristine beach, then make our way to Hanson Bay Sanctuary where you can stroll down the Koala Walk and observe the koalas in their natural habitat.
